Lost part

Featured Replies

Hi all I'm after a part for my 2010 Skoda Octavia Diesel it has the twin cam engine. When the turbo is removed from the exhaust manifold there is a shim/spacer/Gasket that sits between it and the turbo to stop the impeller contracting the housing has anyone got one of those shims/spacers if so how much is it please. I've tried usual channels and the main agents haven't got a clue what I'm on about it Cheers Stephen

Maybe its in the description? Do you mean if you split the turbo to re-core it, that there is a gasket between the two halves of the outer shell?

Probably because they will buy in complete turbos, and not rebuild them. Try contacting the maker or importer of the turbo in question.

Look on 7zap.com, if the part is not shown there its not a manufacturers part and I guess therefore comes as part of the turbo assembly.

But given how you describe it it sounds like a service part.

look here

All the diagrams I've looked at for the diesel have the turbo integrated with the exhaust manifold
