Just back from AMD.

Featured Replies

Well went to AMD today with Elite1000 for a rolling road day and got the fabia put on to see what it was running before it goes to jabba on 21st April.

Standard apart from PD160 intake pipe & Green panel filter.

141.3bhp @ 4007rpm and 231.3 Ib ft @ 2004rpm

Nice one ! 10bhp for free ! :D

Looks good in Silver.......Nice figures.

excellent that, get a RR done at AMD then get it RR'd elsewhere then back again for the briskoda RR day :D

I am going on dyno this week but it only shows wheel horse power. What is % transmision loss on pd100 and how many whp should i expect from standard pd100?

Nice figures

Looking forward to out RR day, dunno what car I'll be in though

good figures monkeyboy , mine has the same mods as yours and only 133bhp/240ft lbs at the wheels on awesome RR but the was a lot of people on the seat forum saying that awesomes figures were wrong due to ,to low a load on the rollers , this may now prove that a fab vrs will produce more HP than the 130 quoted by skoda

I suspected that 140 bhpwas more realistic than 130 bhp particularly with the PD160 Intake and filter mod. Were you not tempted to get a one click unit while you were there?

A simple search would provide the answer, there is a wheel guide in the Fabia section.

Thought it was common knowladge that the 130 bhp of the PD130 was around the 140 mark.... Quite a lot of manufactores understate the true bhp of their engines, Fords 1.9 (130bhp) TDCi being another example .

Sorry!! Good job I can spell though!!

If you want to be like that, I think that a "space" is required between the "p" and the "w" :P

I would off been if it was not already booked in at Jabba.

A8 Rims are 8x18 et35 with 215/35/18 tyres

Paul, you dissapoint me! I thought with the thread title, you'd had the 'itch' again, lol.

Good to hear that the Jabba will be soon, ill have to pop over again! Nice one mate

Is that a pikey mod I see?;)

It's interesting that all manufacturers seem to mis-represent the true bhp of their engines - I'd be keen to see one of the engines with a claimed >130bhp on a bench dyno to see how it compares to the manufacturer's claims.... :D
