Thanks for the reply when I Google it other people have had issues but no answer to it, it's got to be something to do with the Columbus unit I think because it's very temperamental

The TV tuner is a separate module. Sounds like it or it's wiring isn't happy at a guess...

Any idea where it's located to check it out

I think it's behind one of the boot panels but I'm not sure.

If you don't use it, I'd be tempted to find it, unplug it and code it out ;)

That's what it is,it's behind door on driver's side boot I do use the TV function from time to time but it gets annoying because it never saves any preset stations I've saved

It auto tunes, if you drive through different reception areas it will re tune to the new transmitter but i suspect either not quickly or after tv is selected as there are times when it appears no stations are available.

you can then sort them, previous sorted entries will be re populated eventually.

for example, aljazeera stored to position 1 will be aljazeera after a retune but maybe needing to change channel up and down for it to sort again.

the tv module is a somewhat unknown entity.

The fault codes you see are clearly a video connection lead (rgb+s) so i suspect someone has had the columbus or tb module out and not refitted firmly.

that would also explain your other issues.

That makes sense I'll look into removing head unit and tuner and see if anythings a miss
