Why wont 18's fit

Featured Replies

As title really.

I have been looking into getting some new alloys for my fabia vrs and have been told that 18" wont fit without 'mods'. I dont see why this is the case with it only being 2" bigger than standard.

surely if i keep the rolling radius the same or very close it wont make a difference.

If the problem is that ith wheel wont allow full lock cant i just get an offset that pushes the wheel out futher?

If i can better understand the problem i would be better suited to tackling it IMO.

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT!

Scott

It's not so much the diameter that will cause problems, more the width and offset.

There are a few on here with 18s on and I'm sure they'll give you the advice you need.

I think 17s look best, they balance the lines of the car out, but if needs must 18s can go on.....

They do fit...
