columbus RNS 510 setting up tv

Featured Replies

Can somebody please help!

I just bought a 2014 Skoda superb L&K in the UK. It is fitted with the RNS 510 When I was driving the car in the UK the tv was working no problem.

The same day when I got the car back to Ireland and tried the watch tv all I can get is the audio and no display on the Irish tv channels. The EPG is even working but just no display. Does anyone know do I need to change the frequency on the tv tuner or something like that? Thanks.

I believe you have MPEG2 in UK and MPEG4 in Ireland so it will NOT work in Ireland. We have the same in POland - MPEG4 while in Germany there is MPEG2.

Looks like you are correct. I just did some research with your answer and you seem to be right. I wonder if you can buy a MPEG4 tv tuner for it?

If the laurin & lkement was sold in ireland then youmust be able to.

Probably dealer only so silly money unless a scrap yard has one.

Thanks for the reply. I bought the car in England last Monday week. I have found after market tv tuners but they are around €300! Crazy money

You can go into setup button then scroll down to

TV Norm and highlight the options across from it this will bring up alternative frequency's

Then scroll down to UK IRE PAL 1 or try other that look close😎
