Lower Arm Rear Bushes

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forum and am looking for some guidance from your cumulative wealth of Superb experience.

I've had a 2012 Superb for nearly 3 years and it has been very, very capable at ferrying round me and my family. Just back from it's latest service and the garage tell me that the lower arm rear bushes look worn and that they'll gladly replace them for me for £375.60.

Being a tight...person....I thought I'd take a look to see how much I can source them for myself. The codes they provided in the quote are:

1K0407151BL/1K0407152BL

A quick Google of these show up a load of VW Caddy links, does anyone know is this part is shared across the vehicles? If so, I'll gladly buy some Caddy parts as they look to be a fraction of the quoted price (£39.50 for 151, haven't found 152 yet).

Also, does anyone have any recommendations for sites to use to search for these parts? Had a quick look on EuroCarParts and they didn't recognise the part numbers.

Thank you,

Duncan

TPS are the recognised VAG parts supplier.

I had mine replaced at a well respected local indy garage who used Powerflex bushes. Can't recall how much it cost but doubtless much less than a Dealer.

Hope that helps.
