I bought the wife some leather trousers and she is only allowed in the car if she wears them............Mine still has that "New" smell...

not all smell the same, 206's stink!! new. lol just the fresh plastics. like the new smell of most new things one of them being a new laptop or any pc smell:)

Isn't it down to the wax they coat the inside of the car with? Available from Halfords if you need a "top up"

So does anybody actually know of an airfreshener that has the new car smell and it actually smells good unlike some i have smelt? Or know of an interior cleaner that has the smell. dont want the new car smell to go away once i get my furby.

Apparently you can now buy Magic Tree Air Freshners that give off new car smell too....

Apparently, the new car smell was so important to Rover customers that they made an effort to ensure the smell was just right in the 75's.

ANother great smell is that of new carpet in your house.
