I pick up my 2001 Octavia vRS on Wednesday.. But cannot remember if it has Traction Control, does anyone know weather it was standard or not on the 2001 model ??

Yes.

IIRC from launch it should at least have ASR as standard. So yes.

I take it the Yes means it will have Traction Control and not Yes I do know but aint saying !! lol..... So 2001 on a Y-plate Octavia vRS will have Traction Control..

You can turn ASR off - switch on dash. Trip computer standard.

Get it remapped - then you'll really need Traction Control. If I boot mine on a wet/greasy road it's like a feckin disco :D :D :D :D

I also have a 01 VRs and hate the traction control. It cuts the power to the engine.

I don't find the traction control too bad, but opening the wastegate if you try left foot braking is *really* ******* annoying...

Pick it up today soo looking forward to it !! I had a test drive and loved it !! So youll probably be seeing alot of me on here now !! lol
