methinks may have a problem warning lights for ABS and the one below it keep lighting up.Happens at first firring up of engine.then have to restart ,ABS warning light on its own then goes out after about 5 secs .After that runs sweet.anybody any thoughts on this

i would take it into the garage if i was you mate bickertons are rather good

Sounds like a dodgy ABS sensor (had one fail on a Citroen Xanta; similar symptoms).

As fabia says - take it to a garage.

VAG seem to have trouble with sensors. This has happened on my last Golf, my mums Lupo and my wifes Polo.
