Does any body know anywhere that I could buy a can (Areashol) of Black Magic paint to allow me to spray a new wing mirror up on my Fabia.

I have seen that Halfords can have one on order but are there any paint manufacturers who actually have this colour ar a stock item?

I would order a pack from the dealers (black magic + laquer) to ensure the best possible match. They can usually get them next day.

I'v now got the paint, and painted the mirror with the black base coat. Its got a nice even black covering with a nice smooth finish. But at the moment the finish is very Matt with no shine.

I have not put the laquer coat on yet. Will this bring the shine onto the paint finish or is there something I should do to the paint first?

It looks matt until you put the clear coat on.

Its the Laquer that will give it the shine. Follow the instructions on the can carefully.

Thanks I will try and get it Laquered tonight and see how it looks.

There werent any instructions on the can or atleast nother useful just a couple of pictures of how to spray with a can of spray paint.

I'v not really dont much painting with metalics before so just wanted to make sure it was like it was supposed to be.

Should there be any preperation work done on the base coat before the laquer?
