first service for Kodiaq RS

Featured Replies

my first service is due at 1 year / 15,000km . being a new car driven mostly in town, as well as a bi-turbo, is there any point in getting new oil and filter midway through ?

No, those days are over.

10,000 miles or 12 months is enough.

The days of excessive metal swarf left over from the manufacturing process necessitating an interim oil change are thankfully long gone.

I had changed the service interval to 30 000 km after first service at 15 000 (done 61 000 km now).

P.S. My Superb II had service interval of 30 000 km. I sold it at mileage of 390 000 km to a friend and it still keeps running on without any issues.
