Mine does it a bit too. The door window rubber gets dirty and moss build up and also ages.

With the window down give the rubber a good clean with a toothbrush or small head brush.

Then apply some silicon spray or rubber protectant to the seal lip.

See if that helps. Otherwise a new rubber seal...

Edit. Also clean the glass thoroughly with glass cleaner or metholated spirit including the edges of glass that run in the felt channels.

Yea as above, deep clean followed by dry silicone spray should cure the noise, unless it’s the regulator squeaking, but 9 times out of ten it’s just a dirty rubber 🥴😂

I had to replace my door last summer after some kind person pranged it in a supermarket carpark....this means I have seen more of the inside of the MKII Octavia door than I'd care to mention!

I had the squeak on mine before the accident and it was nothing to do with the rubbers in the end, it was the plastic cable slides and carriers which on mine had just worn and were unlubricated and squeaked like mad. I dont have any photos I'm afraid, but suffice to say you would need to remove all the interior door panel parts and then drill out the rivets on the metal door panel that lives behind it just to get to the parts in question (not a job I'd advise taking on lightly).

Alternatively you can get the glass out of the door without messing about removing rivets etc. (there are loads of guides online, and if you are careful it's actually not too bad a job) and maybe with the window rubbers removed and a tube nozzle on a can of silicon spray you may just be able to get enough access through the window area to spray the lubricant on the plastic parts of the window mechanism.

Before rebuilding the door I put loads of silicon on the parts and for 6 lovely months the window was squeak free....alas, it didn't last 😞.....I've just learned to live with it TBH as the thought of doing all that work again is not appealing!
