Superb Estate mk2 Central Locking Witchcraft

Featured Replies

Hi all! I've just bought my first Skoda. Having worked my way through lot's of vag and bmw car's I've taken the leap!

So far I can't believe how good it is! I've got a 2011 Superb Estate/Cruise liner. It's brilliantly specced and put together excellently! I've fallen for it!

Now to my question...

I have it set so the doors lock as I pull away, pretty standard. However when I arrive, remove key from the ignition and get out I cannot open the other doors from the outside (without using the key remote). This is completely unique to any car I've owned!

Can I change something in the settings to correct this?

Apologies for posting in the wrong location! I'm new here

A warm welcome to the Forum !  Not sure on your model but there may be an illuminated button to the right of the gearshift which you can press.  Also when you first open the car, one press on the open button releases the driver's door and two unlocks all the others and the boot.   If you were on your own and only pressed once to get in, the others will remain locked throughout until you press unlock again/  Hope this makes sense?
