Just wondering if anybody else has had any problems with the trim on the handbrake switch? The trim on my handbrake switch is coming away with a very sharp edge which could easily cut your finger.

 

It’s going in for replacement under warranty.

Not experienced on the Kodiaq but the DSG gear selector on the Octy had by the sound of it the same issue, flaking “chrome” and it was common- poor quality or bad design?

I was sure I'd read of a similar issue, but can't for the life of me find the thread.

Yep, it’s a somewhat common issue for many MQB cars. I’ve seen plenty complaints from VW owners on Golf & Passat.
