yesterday when i was on my way home from work, i was just cruising along (as u do) i'd just come off the A19 Moor farm roundabout (for those who know it) heading south bound into Newcastle, when some lad in a orange/red/yellow well not really sure what colour it was:confused: Renault clio sport came ragging around the corner straight up me a***.

Wasnt impressed.

I think this lad just thought "oh look a sporty skoda get out the way :eek:

any way was'nt going to be beating by a tangerine on wheels.

the lad in the tangerine looked quite impressed as i started to pull away any who after about 2 miles ragging it down the road to the next roundabout i had to stop having fun as: there was to much traffic at the roundabout and a well and truly beating the not so va-va-voom tangerine caught up. The lad gave a "yeah u beat kinda wave.

Was very proud of my furby, think it needs a lie down in a darkened room tho !

You sure it was a clio sport, not just a 1.6 or something similar. Each time ive tried to have some fun with a 182 / 172 i get a roasting. They are a lot faster than my furby vrs. Have you had yours chipped?

I've seen a 1.2 Clio dressed up as a RenaultSport Clio in Stockport! The 6" gap between the teeny weeny rear drums and the rims gave the game away a bit!!!

Slightly bending the rules of what's on-topic, but I see from the latest issue of Renault Magazine (they keep sending me it in the vain hope that I'll buy a Renaut again in the future, I think...) that the new RenaultSport Clio will have 197bhp, which if memory serves, is the same as the CTR!

See now i dont beleive that, my mate has a chipped Clio Sport, and we have some fun cat and mousing on the motorway and around some local roads (private i might add)

Not saying my furby will beat him, but its not a thrashing by him either.

Its a 1.2 Extreme. Thats the only one that was made in 'Tangerine'. The bumper inserts were painted to look like a Sport.

Good point. These kids need educating. A ban from the site, after a warning of course, would go some way to acheiving this aim
