EPC & Check light issue totaly FIXED

Featured Replies

Hi, my name is Antony, i have a Skoda Fabia 1.4 75hp, model 2004. I would like to shere my experience with this car and the issue i had with EPC & Check light which while i was driving the car dump into limp mode. I made a video which i appear the real problem and solved without changing any new part on the car. Almost 11 years never bother me thse problems. Thank you.

And the point of the first 8 minutes was what exactly other than to make people gave up watching?

Oh for a concise Youtube video

Even a clue about the offending part would have been welcome.

it is showing the whole process, you should be more patient in your life

i'm sharing knowledge

8 minutes removing a handfull of screws from a completely unrelated part?

Or did I miss something through skipping through it?

I wont be losing another 8 minutes from my impatient life to find out for myself so would welcome hearing what shared knowledge I missed out on.

Why not link us to some of your best concise video guides on YouTube @J.R.? Or perhaps butt out?

I'll butt out

Happy Christmas to you!

All I see is an incompetent owner trying to solve a problem by creating another problem and still not trying hard enough to solve what would actually get the car running fine.

1. An extremely dirty car, with a plethora of poorly routed and maintained pipes which may or not be related to his problem, on an engine already prone to vacuum problems. What are those pipes for? They look old, brittle, and some look split or near it.

2. Binning the cold/warm air mixture flap just like that, effectively warranting the intake of hot air at all times. The thing to do is to cancel it so it always lets fresh air in, or to replace the thermostat if you fancy the idea of it failing in the hot position again. Capping the exhaust duct would be a nice plus.

3. Not even meticulously cleaning up the throttle valve. It still looks dirty to me. Why bother then? If you take the time to get something out of the car, make sure it goes back better than when it came out. Using abrasive pads won't clean it better than plenty of parts cleaner and lots of persistence. I consider my throttle valve clean when it has that "like new", mirror finish, but that's just me I guess.

Diagnosis: EPC light due to a loose nut between the driver's seat and the steering wheel.

For shame boys, for shame.

If you don't need the information in the video then don't bother commenting, a review was not solicited so critics need not apply.
