What else needed for cat delete?

Featured Replies

I have an octy 2011. 1.6. im thinking about removing catalitic converter. By buying and old cat converter and cut it out, replaced with a same sized pipe. So when there is MOT i can just swap it back to the OEM version.

However, do i need to remove dpf then?

Er - why?

Pretty sure the catalytic converter and DPF are combined in a single unit on the EA189 engines.

OT but Langers, is there a project thread for your car? Your signature looks impressive with all of those retrofits and I'd quite like to learn about some of them.

@bootup - Other stuff you need is an exemption from emissions control regulations. HTH.
