Best place to buy used?

Featured Replies

I'm in Oxfordshire and want to buy used, rather than new, any one have any dealerships they can vouch for? Willing to travel a few hours if needed. Almost bought one of Gumtree, ended up being some dodgy dealer so wanting recommendations now. Preferably with a warranty.  Went to a local garage as well and they let me test drive a yeti and could tell the clutch was on the way out yet they said it was fine. I dont know an awful lot about cars so dont want to end up buying something ill regret.

Thanks in advance

Awesome, thanks

Main dealers are not the cheapest, but have a loyalty to maintain with the manufacturer, and will honour a guarantee.  Bearing in mind ,most people dump a car when there are bills looming they want someone else to pay. I prefer to lower my sights, and foresake higher trim levels ,or smaller model to buy new.

All depends on your own finances......

3 year old at auction, off a fleet, full history etc.

Grey Gables at Curbridge, near Witney. Ask for Sam. If he likes you, he might show you his Bentley. And no, that's not a euphamism.

He has refused to sell us a car in the past because he wasn't 100%vsure of an item in its history. How many salesmen would do that?

Good luck with this Vimtovirus stuff going on...
