Superb 140 not 190 ?

Featured Replies

The car I bought from a main dealer 2 weeks ago  was advertised as Skoda Superb 2.0 TDI SCR 190ps 4x4 Sportline plus DSG Estate 5dr.

I received the V5 on Friday I just filed it away until I thought this afternoon to activate the Skoda Connect app

whereapon when entering the VIN number the screen I was presented with showed it as being TD140/2.0A7A

sure enough the V5 states 140 max net power.

so big question what do I say to the main dealer?  As you can imagine I am not happy.

It is 6 months old and 6000 miles on the clock

Advice please

Being stupid

I think you can relax. The 140 refers to 140kw == 190ps.

topic closed - will now open a beer. 🙄

We will all pop round and you can open a tab down the pub with either 190 Euro's (metric) or £187 (imperial) to pay for the drinks.:tongueout:

...Perhaps you can enjoy 0.568261L of beer, now!

It's probably got more than 200BHP so doubt you've been short changed!
