Wayward headlight spray...

Featured Replies

Hello, All.

I have noticed that whenever the headlight spray on my car is activated it sprays up and all over the bonnet...the headlights seem to remain dirty!

I use `ready diluted` screenwash (from Halfords) and I wonder if it may be corrosive on my bonnet's paintwork.

I thought I could just do as you do with windscreen jets and make use of a `pin` to redirect the jets.

Well, of course, that isn't possible because until actually in use the jets remain inside the bumper.

Does anyone know if there is a way to get at these jets so I can try to adjust them?

Many thanks.,

There will be over spray as the pressure is strong. And screen wash should not corrode anything.

Don't forget, using it on your windscreen itself means it goes everywhere too. Pillar, roof, bonnet
