OC3 FL SS disable (12.1V) not working

Featured Replies

Hi.

Permanently disabling the Start/Stop, by setting the limit voltage to 12.1V does not work on my DEC-2019 Octavia.

The coding is changed to 12.1V, and it does not automatically resets to 7.6V - but it simply does not disable the SS,

Any advises to disable the SS?

(SS is annoying with DSG).

Apparently this is a recent fix by Skoda. Sure someone else reported it a while ago.

Just hit the button when you start up. It becomes routine eventually.

It says that the channel (max temp) is not available.

Seems like VAG have closed that option too, so maybe the only way is to fit one of these (or similar) Start/Stop Memory Module

As StopStart is integral to meeting emissions test levels I guess they've locked down this option as part of the dieselgate cleanup….

Do any of the other mods work on the newer VRS's ie my20 , I tried the stop/start one and it didn't work, changing the comfort signal one where you can change the amount of flash's didn't seem to take either ?

To get the comfort signal one to work you have to go into the infotainment menus and select the option to reset the lighting setup to make it read/use the new comfort setting.

Thanks PetrolDave, got the comfort signal changed to 4 flashes and the headlight wash set to come on after 3 secs but may alter that, my OBD Eleven options have changed I see, no more start/stop turn off option

Cheers
