Hi all,

 

Has anyone replaced their cheap plastic start/stop engine ignition button with a better/more durable button such as an aftermarket metal button of some kind?

 

My one is cracked from pressing too hard due to the common button failure where it only works 1/7 times. I have managed to clean the contacts within the switch and it's perfect now.

Just had a google of the start issue and I couldn't find much.  Can you explain the problem?

 

As for a button have you looked at others in the VAG world or ali-express?

Had a look on ebay pretty much, just wanted to check with you guys what would work first or if anyone has changed it before?
