Just ordered new Kodiaq

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Just joined as i have just placed an order for a new Skoda Kodaiq SE L 1.5 TSI DSG in Energy Blue, optional extras leather upholstery (mucky kids made a mess of the fabric in the half leather in current car), reverse camera (for the wife) and Triglav alloys.

The order was just confirmed at the factory on Monday there and was told at the moment 20 weeks for build (original quote from lease company was 12-14 weeks). Anybody who has ordered one recently know the current build timeframe?

I know that the delivery-to-build interval varies a lot with engine and gearbox choice. For a 2.0 TSi DSG, Skoda chat have just told me order to build is about 11-12 weeks. I also asked about build date to delivery, and was quoted this:

Thank you, the build can take up to a week, then your KODIAQ can take up to 10 days to be transported to the Port of Exit. It is then up to another 10 days at Port to be shipped to the UK. This can take 2 days. ~Once in the UK Port it is around 10 days to arrange delivery to the Retailer. This can take 2 days. Once at the Retailer they will complete their Pre Delivery Inspection and then contact you to arrange a handover. These are all working days that I have quoted.

I’m nearing the end of a six month order, but I am replacing one with another.

On Monday I’ll start counting down 10 weeks to D day 😀

(corrected my erroneous counting)

I was quoted 11 weeks when I ordered on 28th of December. Have a build week of week 7. Currently looking at early - mid March delivery.

These delivery date threads are almost as pointless as the fuel economy ones 😂

a little under 2 weeks before me then so hopefully will be mid-end march delivery for me. I checked the lease site i ordered through and the price has gone up by £180 per month for the same spec and lease length/mileage i ordered, glad i got my order in when i did 😲

That's some difference! 😲

My new Quartz Gray 2.0TDI 150 4X4 DSG SE-L is now at the dealer. I could be a little excited... To be delivered 2nd March, as it's replacing my current leased Octavia Scout. Similarly to Carkus, got a great deal at the end of October when everythiong else was about £170 more. The Kodiaq is actually £2 less a month than the Octavia!

What deal did you get? Deposit, monthlies and mileage?

Lease deals seem to peak and trough price-wise throughout the year...

Mine was £324 per month, 1+35 months, 10k miles per year 1.5 TSI DSG SEL, in the standard energy blue, with triglav alloys (no cost option), optional leather upholstery and rear view camera. I checked again today and the price has came back down again to pretty much the same as what i paid.

That's still a good price, a lot of car for a smidge over £300 / month, plenty of smiles per mile to be had!
