New head unit, can I change car settings through OBD?

Featured Replies

I've bought an aftermarket Android head unit for my 2015 Octavia VRS. It's great but I've now lost the ability to access and modify the car settings. Is there a way I can change the settings through the OBD port instead?

OBD11 can adjust a lot of things via the OBD port.

Just make sure that you do a scan and before you make any adjustments, make a note of the current settings, so if it doesn't work, you can then revert back to the original ones.

I think you can enable the car settings.

Which unit did you buy?

Yeah turns out the head unit already does it. It's an xtrons unit and after playing round with it for a while I found them
