Supernova Alloys Gloss Black vs Anthracite

Featured Replies

First time post! ... just ordering a new Superb Combi iv in sportline trim, and I’ve upgraded the alloys to the Supernova style. The configurator only allows you to pick Anthracite colour, but I think I’d prefer gloss black as that seems to be the colour in all the photos I’ve seen. Does anyone have real life photos of the Anthracite ones?

thanks in advance!

What colour car are you getting?

Race blue with the gloss black grille, mirrors, roof rails and lettering at the back. The anthracite supernova alloys on the configurator look quite dark, but the image of them in the accessories brochure they look really light grey.

IIRC @newbie69 found pictures of the anthracite Supernovas and they looked a similar shade to the anthracite Vega wheels.

I have anthracite on my meteor grey car and car and they look naff.   I’ll be putting gloss black alloys on when I change back to my Summer tyres.

I personally think the black supernovas are the best choice for race blue. The anthracite only suit a couple of Sportline exterior colours, IMO

I know they are anthracite Vegas but I think the black wheels just look so much nicer...

Yeah I agree that the black look much nicer. For some reason you can’t spec black on the configurator though?

dealer tells me that you can only get black on the L&K trim but I don’t believe him! 😂
