Insurance time again, a dozen or more to choose from, mine has gone up £35.00 (£428 to £452) is this reasonable?

Sorted, just shy of £200 less than the new premium. Same extras.

Percentage wise your old premium rise looks normal, but cutting it in half is very good, my wife and I are not too good at swopping car insurance, she does that for house and contents and I do that for energy suppliers, but so far not done it for car insurance, and as some older than me duffer broken the driver's door mirror while I was driving her car, even although he admitted liability and his insurer sent out a letter confirming that, I just repaired that myself as "one of these things" - but I'd think that my wife's insurer will see me as an increased risk as will my insurer, so maybe not the best time to move car insurances!

Just a little late replying, but we insured with LV= last April, fully comp, max NCB, £150 excess, me & the wife for £204. Premiums have come down a little this year, do you're probably spot on.

I wish the insurance companies would stop these attempts at excessive annual price hikes forcing us to change so often.

LV normally don't do the major increase trick. I've been insured with them for many years and never suffered significant hikes in premium. My 90 se is £204 with no increase for remapping it.
