After you can attempt to patch with MIB Toolkit (I presume?) to activate what you wish.

Hold down your Menu button for a few seconds, it will enter hidden menu with Software Train and also the correct update button for firmware

Hi, sorry to be another one searching for help with firmware updates. My Android Auto keeps struggling to connect and just disconnecting all the time. 

 

I have a 2017 Octavia. If you could point me in the direction of where to download firmware that would be great.

You will need to press and hold down menu button to update firmware.

 

This will show a different screen with Software Train information, post a picture of that.

Please press Menu button down for a few seconds, and then read out your Software Train in fill (picture if you like)
