Replacement door mirror

Featured Replies

Some neanderthal has whacked our driver's door mirror off and driven off. The top cover, plastic around the mirror and the mirror itself need replacing. It's a 2014 Roomster and I believe the mirror is shared with a few other models.

Where's good to buy this stuff from? Do I need to get OEM or are there other manufacturers?

Thanks

Typically, and this is from someone who had to fix the driver's side mirror on a 2015 VW Polo, you will need a new mirror cap/cover, a new frame and a new mirror glass - on that Polo I also needed a new indictor assembly - that was the most expensive part as that car has LED indicators.

VW Group seemed to have built these things to be able to be repaired after being whacked.

If your age of Roomster has a similar design of door mirror, then you can buy aftermarket parts easily, just be aware that sometimes the frame costs far too much aftermarket, from a VW Group dealership the frame is quite cheap.

I'm not sure which models from VW Group share a mirror with Roomster though.

I think that Roomster shares the same mirrors as Fabias MK2 pre facelifted and facelifted ones
