I have ran into an issue recently with my headlights set on Auto. The headlights are always on be it day or night. I am controlling it on manual as of now.

 

Any ideas what can be the issue?

 

Car: Skoda Superb mk2 petrol 1.8 Automatic

Could be a faulty light switch or rain light sensor (RLS).

 

Ideally you should get the car scanned with VCDS or similar and check the switch/RLS work via measuring blocks.

Could it be a blown fuse which can cause this behavior before I head out to service center?

It could be a fuse for the RLS but as fuses tend to feed more than one device, I'd expect a few other things not to work either. Still worth checking though

I’m having the same issue, with the light switch set to auto the lights are constantly on, also the auto wipers no longer work! Any ideas which fuse needs to be checked ? 

Unlikely to be a fuse.
