FINE looking motor!!!!!

Go on spill the beans on the Aero Wipers.

Want some, need some NOW!!!!!

aero wipers on ebay!!:) Already ordered the rear!

Rear aero wipers fit straight on the original bolt/mounting point for the o.e.m wiper. ;) I have the aero wiper, and my only tiny gripe is it sweeps a slightly smaller area (around 1cm) but for sleeker/cooler looks its a very good mod, and mine only cost about 3 sessions of fault code clearing for a yokel chap.

You can see it in this shot.

Looks much better than the standard one eh?! You wouldnt think such a little mod would make that big a difference!

Strange how lots of other VAG car owners change their rear wiper for a Fabia one, and all us Fabia lot want to change for a different one... ;)

I like the std one, nice and chunky.

Perhaps I should put my complete rear wiper up for sale on cupranet? Actually I just might - Unlikely it will ever get refitted.

Anyway - I haven't done it yet in this thread, but just wanted to say thats hell of a car, Markus'. To have lowered on coilovers and still got 18 x 9 rear wheels fitted.... Would be interested to hear what tyre sizes are fitted on front & back (I assume very wide ones on the back?) and if there's any rubbing issues.

I think he's already answered that Jas,

[*]Rial Nogaro 8x18 ET 35 on front' date=' 9x18 ET 30 on rear with 215/35 R18 tires

Yep, tires are same size front and rear.

The front wipers are an upgrade kit from Bosch, they fit the standard wiper arms and are available for many car makes. See here: klick

re front aero wipers ,have you the part numbers handy as i didn't see any in the link ,thanks

Well, the pdf-file says:

Item number: A 533 S

Aerotwin order number: 3397118902

;)

Yes just had a quick look, don't seem to be able to get them in the UK bu they are on german ebay for about £30 inclusive of p+p.

edit: of course as pointed out by the wise people further on in the thread these are for a lhd so would not fit.

Wow.. Im Speechless... it looks amazing..

is that for a pair of front blades ?

is that for a pair of front blades ?

Yes

I think I just came looking at that car. Marcus, I can see your head blowing up slowly too.

Markus, where did you get your Leistungssteigerung?

Oooo, I just found a set of aerotwins for a shade over 30 euros - following that one up - they look sexy as ahem... carmen electra

Be careful with LHD wipers Jason, they will be upside down on yours!!!

Seroiusly though the aero part will be upside down on a RHD car and thus won't fit/work properly.

So will polo ones work? They seem to be a common RHD Ebay item as well.

Have a look on Cupra net, search for Floppy wiper blades, they have the part number on there of Renault blades that will retro fit most of the range without having to replace the arms 'flapper' found the part number whilst working at a Renault dealership. JonTDI may have these fitted too. LHD aero blades will not fit, nor most of the arms as they are pretty vehicle specific. New revised Ibizas now have aero wipers in RHD so would be worth visiting SEAT dealers and measuring the wiper arms up.
