Hello everyone,

 

I am interested in installing a subwoofer in my 2016 Rapid, something small like a 6.5" or 8" driver. As i don't want to sacrifice the space in the trunck, i thought to use a custom fit box in the left side, like many used in the Octavia when they replaced the original Canton sub as you can see in the image bellow .

 

The problem is, i cannot find anywhere this kind of enclousure. Does anyone know where i could boy something like that for the Rapid ?

Hi, is a custom job as there is nit enough demand. There used to be a company called I. C. E and they hand your car for a few days and made the mould. 

 

It cost a bit more than I wanted to pay so stuck with an alpine 8" box https://www.alpine.co.uk/p/Products/SingleView/SBG-844BR

 

I then bought a jl audio 12" https://www.jlaudio.com/collections/car-audio-subwoofer-systems-basswedge/products/cp112-w0v3-car-audio-basswedge-subwoofer-systems-93281

 

There is still loads of room with the jl box - which is big!
