Adaptive cruise control

Featured Replies

Hello everyone are there any owners out there with a kodiaq 150 DSG diesel fitted with adaptive cruise control? If so could you tell me your thoughts on the system and how good it is? Thanks

Great! I use the gas pedal 2-3% and the rest of the time it is ACC.

Thanks for the info. One thing does it have the function where it will slow you to a stop in traffic then accelerate back upto speed as soon as the traffic moves off?

Thanks

Yes. But if you stop for too long, you have to push the gas pedal to get it going again.

I have it - its GREAT - best bit of tech on the car!

Yep, as above. I wouldn't be without it now

It’s very good, but be careful of it approaching already stopped vehicles as it may not see them. Remember it’s a driving aid.

You can alter the response  by the drive modes so it can be more relaxed in its approach.

I think it’s great but would be even better as in the latest superb, the version that uses the satnav and camera to automatically moderate the speed.

On motorways it can leave quite a gap (adjustable) between you and the vehicle in front, and often cars will slip into it causing you to slow, which can be a bit annoying.

I’d not like to go back to a vehicle without it.

Thanks for the info

Brilliant system. Would not get a car without it now.

I love it too  (even though I have a manual :)  lol )

Only slight issue I have with it is that it doesn't work as well on my 1.5 as it did on my previous Superb.

I think the Kodiaq might need the bigger engine for maximum effect.

Still it's great!

Great system use it all the time ( in the minimum distance setting unless going very fast then up to 2/3 lenghts) with a manual gearbox. No issues changing up or down it just continues. Just won't work in stop/start traffic as with the DSG obviously which is the only bit I Miss.
