What size are you on fronts, i replaced the rainsports a while back as the rears were shot on the inside edge, went with 4 X 215/40/17 Yokohama Advan Neova.

205/45/r17 bro, feels a lot less of a bumpy ride

It’s plainly obvious your just a chancer who is jealous because I’ve probably spent a tenth of what you have on my 1.4 fabia and it would absolutely demolish you on the drag strip 😅😂😅😂😅😂 and its engine wouldn’t blow up in the process because I have put failsafes in place something you would know nothing about as you got your little 1.6 remapped asking dark side to push every little BHP out of it you possible could and blew the old girl up on the way home what a joker stick to your own thread and F off and worry about your own car 🚗

Firstly in your first sentence it’s you’re not your and not sure why I’d be jealous of a slow car using built to a sub par and dangerous standard.

Also good to see you’re admitting you’d only go to a drag strip because you now accept you’ll struggle round a track due to again your sub par knowledge on track driving, dynamics and basic physics.

Didn’t actually ask darkside for any specific power 😂 heck I’d have been happy with 210bhp but at least I’ve got the balls to push things to the limit 🤷🏻‍♂️

I got mine raised up a bit as coilovers had no spring/give at all when really low, so 1inch gap now when i changed the tyres, seemed to make a difference on rear tyre wear on those 'fast roundabouts' and comfort is about 2/3 of original springs.

Hey guys sorry I haven’t posted in a while some exiting things coming in the next month , as some of you may know my factory dq200 has threw its toys out of the pram we all knew it was going to Happen and we all knew it was inevitable… it had standard clutch packs that were fitted from factory in 2012 it had the original mechtronics unit also… all that was different from oem was the stage three tune on it. So I’m doing something crazy and I will be the first person in the world to do it to a fabia I believe . It has been done in cupras and polo’s before, we are taking a dq250 6 speed wet clutch from a 2008 golf mk5 gt and putting it in the fabia if you look at costings then it really is a no brainer

full dq250 gearbox with mech unit

£300

Kevlar clutch packs £800-900

please welcome our donor (engine included)

im thinking of doing something crazy with the engine also 🔥😎003A48DB-1F34-44BF-A8EE-A5731D6467C3.thumb.jpeg.8b0c27fac9c71aec06633c795fe7517c.jpeg

many feedback welcome 🤗

Hey guys and girls been very quiet lately due to work commitments but the project is still coming along , say hello to an OEM dual mass flywheel from a dq250 1.4 tsi golf , it weighs in at a whopping 10.6 kg so I have had it sent off to make a ultra lightweight flywheel here in the Uk 🇬🇧4421780B-0E11-4280-B5A4-7764BABFB123.thumb.jpeg.b7c1477a1287f0fcc20ae868dfae545e.jpeg61B74340-DB92-4334-817F-95F221B728F5.thumb.jpeg.7b3879724e74f5a19ca05d4488d33f26.jpeg96663472-06EF-4985-9350-94CE195ACF58.thumb.jpeg.624a67a2ac1ba3fcfb9f74edc5709fdc.jpeg0D4D9FE2-4773-4C91-BF30-509589BE8807.thumb.jpeg.ee0d6d86a4e273282a56d8914e3c6c73.jpeg

hoping to get it a single mass flywheel instead of a dual mass with a weight of 3.3-4kg will be an absolute rocket with a weight saving like that as the dq250 is slightly heavier than a dq200

Hope this all works out mate, be one of a kind bud.

Cheers mick glad to see yours is still going strong on stock internals aswel

Hey guys,

few bits ordered today for the dq250 as the dq200 does not have any cooler lines or interface in terms of cooling but the dq250 does it has a heat exchanger on top that connects to the coolant lines , but rather than butchering the fabia lines and having to drain all coolant I have decided to get an adapter plate and fit an external oil cooler for the gearbox oil this should help with continuous use and hopefully launch controls so it doesn’t burn the clutch plates out, have also got a better looking Dsg oil filter housing so when I drop and replace all the oil and filter I will also be fitting that 4F3177C6-61D0-44A3-A308-68020D853975.thumb.jpeg.3ab524706273db5e2db76ab25339cae5.jpeg60489674-F1BA-406C-84D4-58DFA8AA294B.thumb.jpeg.9e469f682a1a5685dd7b71ff5bbfbf95.jpeg

Cheers mate will do ,  just waiting on the limited slip differential arriving from quaife , for anyone else wanting to do this conversion it’s the 20 tooth LSD you need for the gearbox out of the golf mk5 GT D689F375-2BB1-4FD8-94D8-17967C9DE86C.jpeg.35e90a55dfc4fa800d3cec68cc7dea5f.jpeg

Any update bud

Hi mate project is pretty much complete gearbox works fine just making a proper mount for the gearbox as you need essentially a hybrid mount between the dq200 mount and the dq250 mount , I’m starting a new project soon that I will be posting on here , I’m taking a rover k series turbo engine out of a rover 75 and mating it to a dq250 gearbox from a golf R and sticking it in a mg zr.

Bit of progress on my fabia this weekend , car is running pretty much perfectly now , I had a teething issue with the gearbox mount and driveshaft but I have solved those issues now (hopefully) so this weekend I have added the greddy Profec map. This is an add on to my boost controller that will allow boost by gear, boost correction, temperature vs boost throttle position vs boost etc etc , I managed this by a cartek obd converter and the Profec map adapter and a little soldering shout out to Lidl park side for the quality cordless soldering Iron EE431948-BF78-4268-99D8-6DE4B5A83BFD.thumb.jpeg.b545c2297a766ee1b56a3dd898162e98.jpegAE7E8CCD-75F6-4992-87D5-4E6B96CE67C0.thumb.jpeg.7663d938966e12560a2d4af085795e78.jpeg11C1B695-6601-4DC6-B866-E9C98AB13249.thumb.jpeg.ca65485dc2f0e5aed9e899ed4d6450c7.jpeg

Hi mate cheers for the kind words , I have not had it on the dyno yet would be good to though! , in honesty I have not turned the boost up as far as you have yet as my engine is still stock internally it is the stronger CTHE though! It would be really good to meet up mate, probably on the agenda next is tighten up the mapping side , the dq250 map is still stock and with it being from a 2008 car the shifting is a lot slower compared to the dq200, I have taken abit of a back seat on the Skoda as in my eyes It’s perfect the way it is now I keep getting a few gremlins like my alternator has given up so might be good to change to a Wosp engineering alternator for the added power, but I have started a new little project if anyone is interested the first video is below

Hi guys & girls small update I’ve been incorporating the dq250 gear shifter into the oem centre dash , as the PRDS lights and gator on a dq250 gearstick goes into a square plastic plate and the dq200 one goes into a circular dish plate it would never of fitted into the Skoda fabia centre console  so I have taken the circular dish dq200 plastic centre console part apart and while I was at it I changed all the surface mount  LEDs from boring green to UV purple, also while doing this I swapped the gear gator from the horrible black fake leather to some napa leather gator from Ali express and re upholstered it onto the Skoda fabia plastic (such rubbish quality plastic it virtually shattered instantly)
