I have a 16 plate Octavia which i have caught the n/s mirror and broken the indicator lamp. The lamp is still working, but with the cover off i cant see how the lamp is fitted into the unit  Any help would be appreciated.

If you ask this same question on Sasha Grace's thread under MK3 Octavia section I'm sure she will have all the answers for you due to the extensive mods on her car.

It’s clipped in two places to the bottom cover, there may by a torx screw, either the Octy or Superb has one but I can’t remember which.

Thank you for the informative video. I needed to change the indicator lamp due to damage reversing into my vert tight gateway. Until I saw your video I was scratching my head, and thanks to yourself it was very easy 

 

All credit to SM8475 for doing the video. Found it very useful too when installing my dynamc indicators and LED Puddle lights.
