Fuel stabilizer

Featured Replies

I would like to pass on a little help if you are going to lay up a any petrol engine for some time, like now here in the UK they are saying old folk over 60 need to self isolate well that's me so laying up a car for some time the fuel will go off I understand here in the UK there is nothing in petrol to stop it going off drivers are for ever refilling there tanks so no need.

For many years I have used this  https://lucasoil.com/products/fuel-treatments/lucas-fuel-stabilizer in my two 1960's motorcycles and after some six months they start ok and run ok.

I have not used it in my Felicia as no need but it looks like I may have to.

I have nothing to do with Lucas or any other products.

One last thing if I have to leave my Felicia for some time I will leave the hand brake OFF and leave in gear and chock the wheels the last time I left it for 3 weeks the rear brakes had stuck on.
