Bluetooth Issues

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have a weird issue that nobody seems to be able to get their head around (Even main dealers).... Last week the infotainment unit reset itself and I lost all the radio stations, phone profiles etc.  I have everything back to normal apart from being able to repair my phone.  It all works find until I get to the screen where I have to match the passkeys.... I click okay on my phone but when I try and press 'yes' they match on the car screen nothing happens, no response on the screen at all.  Then the pairing times out and I can then press okay.

The screen works fine at every other time apart from at this match pass key screen.  I have pretty much tried everything but witch craft to get this to work but I have had no luck and it is driving me round the bend.

Please HELP!

Maybe ensure that previous pairings have first been removed from both devices and do a re-start of the phone prior to trying it all again.

Yeah I have tried deleting all the pairings, I have cleared cache and data from the bluetooth on my phone, I have tried pairing a different phone .... all does the same thing!

Update your profile with which infotainment system you have and has that been reset?

See the pics below.  It is at that passkey screen where I can't press anything and then it times out and it says unable to connect....

Device part number: 5Q0035842A

Hardware: H24

Software: 0245

Media Codec: 2101.0.0.10

Yes the system has been reset several times and restored to factory settings.
