TSI Badge

Featured Replies

A post out of curiosity, but I've never seen another Fabia with a TSI Badge on the hatchback like mine. It looks factory fit to me and the font is identical to the Fabia badge. Were these an option or were they only fitted for a short time?

Also I believe the colour of my car is Denim Blue. If so, that's a good old BL colour name!

Good question. I've wondered this, too. A MK2 car around the corner has a badge on it but our MK2 hasn't.

That is a non-genuine badge, fitted by the previous owner.

The location, spacing and font is all wrong.

I have seen (yesterday in fact) a badged 1.2 TSi Fabia and now I want a TSi badge. How can I get one and where should it be mounted?

Answers on a postcard please .....

Looking more closely at my badge it definitely wasn't standard. It was plastic where the originals are metal. I also think that the car looks cleaner without it, so I have carefully removed it by soaking the adhesive pads with small amounts of WD-40, then gently twisting each letter side to side until they came off. A little more WD-40 to remove the remaining sticky residue, then polish and wax the paintwork. Back to standard!

They were quite a good match to the original badges, but no idea where they came from. The ones I've seen on Amazon and eBay are much more in the VW style.

Halfords, Amazon, eBay. All likely sources.

As for where should they go? Assuming you wanted a serious answer (and not, in the bin) it’s entirely up to you and what looks best to your eye.  There is no OEM location so to me, anywhere will look odd and out of place.

Thanks, the Fabia i saw had it in the same or similar position as the OP's photo.

I've only just seen the op's photo after disabling my script blocker.

I just say that the TSI badge is horrendous!

The MK2 that I saw with a tsi badge looked tasteful and something like an OEM fit.

Do any other vag cats have genuine TSI badges that could have been fitted?

Seat Leon 2011 do, not great looking though

Just to clarify the miss information some are giving. The original picture is of an OEM TSi fitment badge. If you really would like one. Your local dealer can get them. Or try supper soda.

The badge in the original pic isn’t OEM in that it’s not standard fit. It never left the factory like that.
