Hi all. Just to clear up any thoughts that I was moving too fast. It happened in a car park at very low speed when I swerved to avoid a kid on a push bike who shot out between cars. I impacted/glanced  a post on the wing. The kid did not hang around and after parking again I did go and ask if there was any CCTV in use. Of course not. The metal here is quite light so hence the damage.

Still awaiting the replacement which is due late next week.

 

On another note; What is the best-correct fitting battery for my car.Non stop-start. As I still have the original fitted its now 7+ years old.

   

Yuasa are usually recommended as the best.  Fitted one to my 8 year old Yeti - made a big difference.
