I'm getting 2 weeks to the gallon at the moment. What about you?

Unfortunately I am an emergency worker so still getting 44mpg.

Hmm key worker here too, still burning through it

I topped up the tank the other day simply because I couldn't resist 99.9p a gallon.  But before that, it was last topped up on 15th February !!!

The fuel cost me £22    i.e. 22L which equals 4.82 gallons so by my reckoning that's 8weeks = 1.66 weeks to the gallon.

Damn, you're more fuel efficient than me.

Ha ha.  As Captain Manwairing would say, I was waiting to see when someone would spot that.

We have three cars in our household being used about six times a week between them and probably a collective 100km covered.

Last week I added respective diesel and petrol fuel stabilisers to tanks to avoid to great a bacterial deterioration or even  algal bloom.

I think we are in for the long haul with this one.

My driveway ornament car has done six miles in the last month.  At 72 miles a year I appear to have enough fuel to keep me going until early 2024.

Quiet roads, gotta love them

Think I might be last or close to our postie friend Tony. Last month 1,155 miles using 138.78 litres or 30.53 gallons or just under 1 gallon per day.B)

From a stay at home isolator; this year February had 29 days, March 300 days and April looks like it'll be 600 days!

Yeah but, thats only on the way to work however, I get twice the mpg coming home at lunchtime, still can't understand why🤔🤔🤔

Perhaps it's all downhill on the way home and you've found the coasting function hiding under the Eco mode. Looks like I might get 652 miles on my current tank if it stays warm (unlikely).

Only 400 days left in April then.

Shy, after your incident at the petrol station, I'd be inclined to trust North Korea's Kim Jong II golf score than i would you on anything to do with fuel economy.

By the way, given there's a comedy edge to this thread,  how's the court case coming along? Have you sued the Shell Oil Company yet ?

It's got to be a record for the 2.5 st. I filled up on the 15 of March and it's still got a full tank. We'll apart from what was used to bleed the coolant system when I fit new hoses and a header tank.

Been WFH and 3 cars pretty much just parked up the whole time, bar the odd trip to drop supplies to my parents to avoid them going to the shops.

The thing I'm actually wondering is whether now it's enabled and proven to work, whether I'll WFH regularly once this is all over.  If so, fuel economy would not really be a factor in car choice and I could actually buy something somewhat quicker!

And older tbh, no point having a fairly new car depreciate sat on your drive...
