Hi all!

 

This probably isn't a massive change but since buying my car a couple of months ago and the Coronavirus lockdown happening, it gave me a little chance to have a go doing small car bits.

 

In this post, I added some HEKO wind deflectors on the 4 windows! Not pictured is also the hardwired dash cam so it's not hanging from the lighter port anymore! 🎉 

 

First one I did as a practice. Pretty nervous about the metal clips in there? They don't fit snug enough for my liking and unsure what to do about it.

Overall pretty chuffed with the result. Not sure what to do next. Considering tints.

I have a set of these to fit to my VRS. Are they easy to fit?

Very easy to fit and they look amazing.

 

They come with some metal bits which go inside the window track (the side with the pointy bit outwards towards the deflector) to keep the deflector not getting in the way of the window when going up but i think they're a little too long length ways? They feel too big for my window frame's track... Only time will tell though.

I’ve always considered these as we use the car the dog and having the windows open is more preferable then the air con on when it’s raining etc.

 

i have a white VRS with no tints or any other black bits so it’s always put me off that these come tinted already - may look a bit odd!

I think if you were to get them, it would either look amazing or the opposite. It's really difficult to tell unless you try it out. Love mine and will definitely reap the benefits during the summer and when raining too!

 

I'm going to be doing tints to my car soon so I think the deflectors will look even better too

have a set of Team Hekos in the shed to go on my octy, and rear window & tailgate tints to go on too.

 

needs a good wash and clean out before i do them though.

Mine needs a good ol' scrub too... Just not been good enough weather for it yet

Got mine on the VRS. They look great and they were indeed very easy to fit.

 

Also have a set for my A3. The clips do not fit as they are far too big. Looks like I will need to muck about with double sided tape. The bit the window goes into is very tight so the window may not go up correctly once the deflectors are fitted. The joy's of audi !!!
