Mind of their own mirrors

Featured Replies

Hi All.

I have a Superb Sportline 220, love it, had a diesel Mondeo before and this feels like lighting compared.

Recently having a problem with the wing mirrors on the car, the seat will automatically move to the desired key setting bit the mirrors seem to have a mind of their own pointing in any direction they please.

Im going to try and reset the keys later on with info some of you guys have provided in other threads.

Has any one else had any similar issues ?

Thanks

Have you tried saving the mirror position settings once your seat is in position?

I only even use one key so I'm not sure if it behaves differently with other keys.

I use preset one on the seat for my driving seat position and mirrors.

Preset two I use for moving the seat back for getting in and out. The mirror positions need set in each position I've found.

I haven't tried once the seat is in position I'll definitely give that a go though thanks. I have a key and my wife has key, she drives it 90% of the time. I'll try everything I can then last off maybe reset all the setting to factory and start again

Good luck. It shouldn't need a reset hopefully as that will be a pain to set everything up again!

I think it's 'set' then whichever number you want to assign it to. Hopefully somebody who uses more than one key will be able to add more guidance if it isn't as straightforward as it is with one key.

If you have key personalisation then make sure the car is locked before using a different key. My mirrors don’t adjust properly sometimes when someone else has been driving my Kodiaq.
