100mph at 2500rpm according to this guy/girl

Yep I get about 110mph at about 3000prm.

But mines an early 53 plate with the longer geared gearbox

HI, took a friend out in mine a few months back for a cruise and he commented on the rev's being 2300rpm @80mph.

I have a late 55 plate (December '05):rally:

My Ibiza does 80mph @ 2krpm which would equate to 100mph @ 2.5krpm, I think it has the same gearbox as early the early Fabia vRS.

I think I asked the question to someone else who claimed the same thing but had a 54 plate with the shorter ratiod box. With that being a 53 plate it might be closer to the truth. ColG has one the same age, so wonder what he gets. I vaguely remember him saying it did 2000rpm at 80. I think the older box had a 38mph/1000rpm final drive ratio, and the new box is something like 33 or 34mph.
