WHEEL SPACERS

Featured Replies

Hi all, looking to add some wheel spacers to my 2018 kodiaq sportline, running 20" wheels, as I think they look way to far tucked in.

Has anyone added spacers to theirs? If so what width did you install and what make?

Think I'd get 20mm to fit?

Photo attached (not a great one to show the gap in the wheel arch)

Eibach are a reputable company and VAG use them for a lot of their suspension components...   https://www.rtecshop.co.uk/eibach-wheel-spacers-12mm-for-skoda-kodiaq-10-16/prod_476073.html

OK great stuff thanks, will check these out

I agree buying branded spacers is going to be a better option than buying cheap knock ups from eBay.

Hub centric spacers that bolt on to the hubs are a far better and safer option than using the type that use extended wheel bolts.

@M8DSwordfish   People reading the forum on a phone might not be aware that you are in Estonia so that was fitted free at a non UK Main Dealership.

There they might actually decline fitting Spacers to a customers vehicle for money or free gratis.

That is true. Only installation was free... not spacers itself. I dont see why they shall decline installation over there, but never mind, every country has them own wierdnesses. If they decline, then it is anyway 15 min. installation by itself...

@M8DSwordfish

The reason a Dealership might decline fitting is because they are not Factory Approved and not supplied by them so not Dealership Fit Options,

which is also why they need declared to your insurance provider in the UK.

Then again some might not bother and just fit them for a fee or tea money to the workshop.

Seeing as the wheels do not even come off at a Service unless paid for even though listed on the Schedule Sheet, getting work for free is rare.

Getting the wheel bolts checked at a PDI or the tyre pressures set is also a lottery at Main Dealerships.

So seems i live in bit better place, I dont have problems with my dealership, whatever is necessary to do will be done without problems... yeah and my current Kodiaq is already 5-th car from same dealer, so no lottery here at least not for me.

I think 20 mm is good, but just for a look maybe 30 mm would be better.

For me 20 mm is ok, it doesn`t look like sh*tting rabbit anymore.

Ok cool thanks mate, did you buy them

as a kit spacers and longer bolts? Thanks

Eibach system 7 ( S90-7-20-017) comes with bolts. First you attach spacer with supplied bolts to axle and then rim with original bolts to spacer.

The RS & sportline version are wider from the other Kodiaqs already as stock - done by spacers or its just the 20" tyres?? + this is the Eibach enhancement

Are they?

I don't think the SportLine is any wider than the other non-vRS versions of the Kodiaq.

Appears there is a difference.

Kodiaq has front/rear track 1575 / 1565 mm, except RS, which has 1579 / 1567.

But 4 / 2 mm do not make any difference

But not the SportLine?
