Not sure why everyone is trying to calculate costs. You can't put a price on the pursuit of horses! There's a guy on Audisport with an S4 generating 530bhp and he was asking for recommendations on decent brake discs and pads as it struggles to stop after being driven hard! Obviously I've pointed him in the direction of brake upgrade instead!

It’s a car I have no intention of selling. It’s my first car and to be honest compared to some of the cars I’ve drove lately like a juke and a captur I really don’t want something else 😂

Why do people calculate costs? Simple, we want to know if we can do it too 😄 and how much would we need to lie to our wifes "honey I need a new turbo, the old one broke"

Been watching the build for years!! Got my fab around the same time so Its been a long process but the results are good to see! 

 

My mate had a 400bhp Evo 8 which was a killer of a car... but guess what he loves more... his Mk1 Fabia... its not about power or speed at the end of the day its about enjoyment and this build gives its owner enjoyment so its a win for them!! 

 

I agree with most, the cost is a lot and not something I personally would do but then again I sink 1.8k into a lens for my camera...! 

 

Overall, nice build and a good test mule for DS!   

You can’t take money to the grave? Why not spend it on the underdog car, the look on people’s faces when a Skoda Fabia obliterates them is priceless. Also what about the depreciation when you buy the flashy RS3’s / A45’s / GTD’s I’d rather stick the money in a project car but hey that’s just me 🤷🏻‍♂️
