Featured Replies

Looking to get some cheap 16" steel wheels to put some track tyres on for this summer, any idea on where i could get them and at what price?

I've been looking for the same (16" steelies), although not for track. If you find a source would you mind letting me know?

288mm won't fit under? if not then 312mm definately won't

Yes, that is a turbosnail :)

Or the way I saw it, speed of snail turbo referring to the lag time for it to come on boost.

will 312mm brakes fit under 16" steelies?

The old Octy vRS Estate came with a 16" steel spare wheel, so i'm guessing yes.

I've got one 16" steel that used to be my spare just kicking about, if you get 3 more like minded people you are more than welcome to it

how much delroy?

Have you tried the sapre over the 312mm brakes, if so they are only

Breakers are the best source, a lot of skuds have steel spares, shouldnt take long to find 4 & as no body wants steels about £10 each should do it, you might even get some half decent tyres to trash

That idea is basically to spend £40 ish on some steelies, put some ****ty slicks on, and enjoy 2 weekends at elvington which will no doubt will the tyres due to the surface.

You can have the wheel for free but you'd need to arrange collection as I'm in Kent!
