Hi,  try to connect rear camera power to reverse light，please help me identify reverse light positive and negative power，Thank you

12v is the bl / blue wire. Earth is br / re at the rear light cluster.

I have just bought a dashcam with reverse camera and I was wondering how you managed to get the wire into the lighting area, I can't see a way to route it from within the car easily. 

Did you manage to figure out which wire was for the reverse light?

I have a rearview mirror dashcam that my reverse camera is connected to, so I have run mine all the way along the head lining. I just can't figure out the way to run the red wire from inside the vehicle to the outside light cluster (I mounted my camera inside the boot). I think I may have to remove the rear quarter plastic panel inside the boot. I hate taking these off though as I am bound to break something and not sure if that is the way the wiring loom runs to the light cluster.

 

To be fair I have only got the camera so I can see how close I am to the car behind, if all the red wire provides is auto switch to reverse camera and provide guide lines I may not worry about it anyway. I have not looked to see if it has any other function to be fair.
