After Market towbar?

Featured Replies

Hi all, yet another post about the Superb and towbars! Feels like I've stepped in to a mine field and just looking for advice from those of you who have had after market towbars fitted on any Superb that didn't have the factory prep, what they tow and if they've had any problems!?

my 280 combi tows a 1500 kilo caravan without issue, but then again ive only had both since November.

590 pounds for the alko detachable towbar with 7/13 pin adapters and skoda wiring loom included is what I paid.

This knocks out the rear reversing sensors when towing.

The only downside that I see with the skoda superb is the bouncy suspension.

Happy hunting.

Cheers, Who did you have fit your towbar?

I had a westfalia installed aftermarket and it was very straightforward, all coded in. Nothing of the installation can be seen when not in use.
