Fluctuating idling

Featured Replies

Hi Guys!
I looked through the forum, but I didn't find a description that would resemble the problem: the car (Octavia MK1 1.6 petrol BFQ) occasionally changes turns up and down at idle. If I start the car, stop this. The air mass flow meter, the fly filter tube, the spark plugs have been replaced, the spool housing has been cleaned.
Tips: Idle engine broken, seal replacement?

was the MAF a genuine replacement or a pattern (aftermarket) replacement.

quickest test for that is unplug the maf, and see if it changes. if it settles down the maf is wrong. if still rough its something else.

Thanks for the answer, I didn't save on this, a new Hitachi-HÜCO was added. Consumption has improved much since then ~ 6.5 l / 100 km, mostly used outside the city.

Unfortunately, the problem has persisted ever since. Fortunately, it's "just" annoying.

Hello, did you find the solution to this? I have the same problem on my Octavia 1.6 75kw, it's only happening when engine is warm
