Can't remember the details but there is one member here who modded a 280 to over 500hp. Details in the modification forum. I think that was faster.

 

I am bit disappointed in the article as no mention of any fuel consumption figures... 

The last I heard it was up for sale at a dealer.

John mine's faster because I've just polished it (no turd jokes please) and it's driven by a better driver.😉
