How to tell if you have DCC

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Stupid question - how do you tell if you've got DCC?

I've got a Superb 3 280 L&K (66 plate). I have drive modes, but not sure if this affects the suspension.

Thanks

DCC was std on the L&K

Go into individual and then change the settings

It comes up on my ICE display as DCC/Mode when I change from Normal-Sport-Individual-Eco-Comfort. You will feel also feel the difference, particularly onbumpy B roads.

Thank you both!

Is there any way to tell without going into menus or looking at the struts? From an engine bay photo for example?

Thanks

No, far easier to look for it in the infotainment

If you have DCC then you will have an option for "Comfort" as well as eco, normal, sport.  If you haven't got DCC then you won't have the "Comfort" option.

If you want to technically identify it there are lumps on the side of the lower part of the struts.  This is where the controls are for the different damping levels.  Should be able to see it with the front wheels turned.
